Love the witty humor on there. Aisha certainly proves that a beautiful woman can have a lot more going for themselves than just looks. That’s what I admire about her.

Marellus, my boy, I have been seriously pondering your, uh, “situation”. If you’ll permit me, I’d like to share a story.

This certain old fellow was a retired heavy equipment operator. When he was a young man, he couldn’t find a job because he hadn’t any experience, and he couldn’t get experience without a job.

He went to the first company and lied and said he had experience. He climbed aboard the bulldozer and began fooling around with the controls. After thirty minutes of this the foreman realised that he had a guy with no experience and ran him off.

He went to the second company. They hired him. He lasted a day and a half.

When he was hired on at the third company they kept him because he had all this great experience.

And never forget, God’s Word tells us that He is pleased with us even if we don’t ever find someone and have a family, if we love and obey Him:

“Neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.”
      — Isaiah 56:3-5

Thanks Mark. I really appreciate it. I mean it. I’ve found this text to be one of my favorites :

        Job 5 : 17-27 (KJV)

17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
herefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty :

18 for he maketh sore, and bindeth up:
he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles:
yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death:
and in war from the power of the sword.

21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue:
neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.

22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh:
neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field:
and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.

        24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace;
and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.

25 Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great,
and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.

26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age,
like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.

        27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is;
hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

        Mark,

… I also solemnly promise that I shall hie off to the nearest place of inebriated attraction, and there that I shall, to full faculties of my masculine reasoning, SMITE a blonde bombshell of the most excellent measurable statistics., with a composed soliloquy full of thee’s, thou’s and thine’s, and a battalion of butt-naked Grenadier Guards befondeling a brigade of bagpipes, with a Chinaman in a pink tutu waltzing right behind, playing a harmonica …

… couldn’t get it could ya ? I’ll make it simple : In a bar, I’ll recite her a poem poem full of thee’s thou’s, thou’s and thine’s, in which there is a regiment of fully undressed British Grenadier Guards (they’re the guys with the mighty beaver-caps that pass out when the Queen passes by in her coach) and a bloody disagreeable (disagreeable : think of Barny Frank at a Vaginal Sex Symposium) Chinaman (if you’re still reading this, it means you’re still shopping at Wall-Mart) in a pink tutu (tutu : watch “Black Swan” with Natalie Portman … yes, I know … but you’ve gotta impress the ladies with the fact that you watched this … I know … and I’ll pray for you) … playing a harmonica ( need I say more ??? … we’re dealing with WOMEN after all !!! )

        Hey Mark,

Totally off topic, but you’re a Broncos fan right?

What do ya think of Tebow?

For a long time there was great expectation among the donkey faithful for The Next John Elway. When Griese, Plummer, Cutler, and Orton failed to carry the team in this manner there was much disappointment.
I believe many fans are now realising that a quarterback the likes of Elway (who was FAR from perfect himself) comes around in a franchise only once in several decades, and so are content to allow Tebow to develop according to his own unique strengths and simply win games.
There is now a head coach that is keen on the development aspect, and also Elway himself is now a presence in the front office. Tebow, with his talent and work ethic could be very great.

          My favorite…
Sportscaster: “Tim, what did you do to execute that last winning drive?”
Tebow: “Well, first I want to thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”

What’s weird is that I don’t think coach Fox was really drinking the Tebow kool-aid at all – he was a Josh McDaniels pick. But the Broncs were 1-4 and the fans were calling for Tebow, I think Fox felt more forced to do it than anything else.

And of course now that the Broncos are winning in the 4th Q every week – they’re in OT right now (of course I’m stuck w/ Packers-Raiders here), Fox really has no choice but to ride this wave out. I’m just wondering whether or not – wow Broncs just won again on a long FG – Tebow really has what it takes for long-term success in the NFL.

Ha, I wonder this as he wins, AGAIN.

              Dear Boba Fett,
John Fox was clearly cool to Tebow for a while there, but he seems to have warmed up lately (every coach loves to win).

Tebow now more consistently hits the open man (whether or not his receivers actually catch the ball is another matter). As far as his long-term prospects, he does have that Ken Stabler-esque “Just Win, Baby” attitude and the ability to find ways for victory.

Anyway, GO BRONCOS! I don’t know how we keep pulling these nail-biters out.

    Caught this on the Internet:

“If you ever become a mother, can I have one of the puppies?” -Charles Pierce

Also: “Brevity is the soul of lingerie.” -Dorothy Parker

And: “I just saved 15% or more by fleeing the scene of the crash.”

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
